Update
It has been quite a while since we have had the ability to update everyone. We have been working on solutions to bring Unitrend into production, unfortunately, in this economy, raising the capital to do so has been very disappointing. We have since begun to explore different avenues to achieve revenues through licensing of the product(s). This is a slow process and it will take some time to workout any agreements. Addressing new market trends and how to best adapt and deploy our products has been our key focus as we continue to press forward.
We are constantly asked why we do not post information on a regular basis. The answer is if we don't have anything substantial to say, we don't write updates that are meaningless. Everyone these days is nervous about the economy and how it is affecting them and their financial interests. We come to work everyday to honor the trust that has been placed with us to complete our missions. Our silence is not about failure, rather it is to marshal all the resources left at our disposal to succeed

Update
Revival in hard times is tough and quitting is easy, but as the saying goes "When the going gets tough, the tough get going".
In my last update I wrote about breakthroughs in technology and marketing. We have spent the past few months tweaking designs, concepts and strategies to enhance our abilities to grow in this economic downturn. The marketing aspect of our efforts are complete and require no additional funding or development. To handle these new advances, this website will also undergo a complete overhaul to better serve customers and provide detailed information about our products as they are released. Funding for production is not where we would like it to be, however new opportunities are on the horizon and we are aggressively pursuing these options.
Communicating with the company will finally improve over the next few weeks as new email-box addresses and telephone equipment is installed.

CEO Update
I want to thank all those involved with Unitrend over the years. These past nine months has brought many changes, some welcoming others disappointing. Like most businesses we have seen our share of downsides and have worked very hard to maintain our technical edge through it all. Attempts at securing financing for a complete roll-out of our product line has stalled during these tough economic times. However we have used this otherwise bleak period to our advantage and through this past summer we have completely revaluated our future as a viable company.
Breakthroughs in new technology and improving those already developed, has continued with great success. Another major obstacle that has plagued us from the very beginning has been a cohesive marketing strategy that would be financially feasible. I am proud to announce that this process has been completely re-developed and is ready for implementation. In fact the marketing budget was the most worrisome element of our growth plan. Today with newly developed tools and associations that problem has all but been eliminated.
Let me talk about a question that is often asked, “Is our technology still relevant in the ever changing world of computers?” The answer is a resounding yes. We track changes in the industry daily and as a result we have been able to forecast the effects these changes could have on the viability of our product line. Many improvements have been designed and tested to stay well ahead of current requirements. Another factor to consider is that current Unitrend technology has evolved to support markets outside of the PC computing market. These markets include, but are not limited to, Medical Equipment, Electronic Duplication Equipment, Automotive Safety Equipment and Aviation products.
Finally, on a personal note, the past year has been very difficult for me. As many of you know I suffered a near fatal heat-attack and have had a long and difficult recovery. This has not in anyway shape or form diminished my commitment to my duties as President or CEO of Unitrend. It has, as you may imagine, slowed me down more than I’d like to admit, but my resolve and belief in Unitrend is greater today than ever. Efforts to raise production capital continues, as does our desire to bring a new management team on board to lead us into the future. I’ve had a great deal of time to reflect on the past and present and what I would have done different. In the end it comes down to commitment and the tenacity to pursue ones dreams. Life has an uncanny way of humbling even the most self-assured, learn from it and you blossom, ignore it and you die. I’ve learned that growth comes in many forms, inspirational, personal, financial and spiritual to name a few. For me the growth has come in the realizations of the many blessings I have received and to honor those who have been a part of making my dreams come true. Unitrend’s best days are still ahead of us all. Thank you for patience and continued support.

Unitrend initiates relocation process.
With financing nearing completion, the company has decided to relocate closer to our suppliers and technical sources. This move will help streamline our operations as we proceed forward. The move places the company in a geographical center that will provide tremendous growth opportunities while creating a desirable environment to attract the new management team. We expect these actions be completed in the near future, resulting in a overall reduction of operational costs.

Search for new management team begins.
With development of the Breeze all but completed, Unitrend has moved its focus to securing a new management team. The Board of Directors announced on 11/14/06 that the company would begin to expand and broaden the management team. The directive requires that candidates for the new positions have (at minimum) ten years of senior management experience in the operations of a publicly traded company, a proven track record of success and the demonstrated ability to grow the business. The implementation of this directive was delayed until now in order to get a firm grasp on future financing for the project. We are in the final stages of putting that funding into place and will announce its completion.
The newly refined website is now complete and has been optimized for commerce.
