History
Unitrend^® was founded in 1996 as a computer research and development company.  Our primary focus is centered on “Open Architecture” which enables computer users to combine various components and peripherals from different manufacturers.  Our goal is to set new industry standards for wire management, enclosure, power supply and mounting technologies while establishing new benchmarks for quality and adaptability.

Over the past ten years, Unitrend’s research has developed three product lines; the VersaCase^® enclosure chassis, the Stable^® power supplies, and the Cablety^® wire management system.  When used independently, the patented features of each product line deliver superior performance that cannot be found in any competitors’ products.  When combined, however, these product lines form the most advanced and innovative computer backbone (chassis systems) technology ever produced!


Product Lines
The VersaCase product line is an innovative modular enclosure system that includes the “Viking^™”, “Neptune^™”, “Orion^™” chassis and allows the user to efficiently and easily configure, repair and update the hardware components contained in the computer shell case.  The VersaCase enclosure permits rapid access to the computer chassis by using a patented drawer slider mechanism similar to a file cabinet, creating an "electronics in a drawer" environment.  Within the VersaCase drawer, the entire personal computer hardware becomes modular.  With VersaCase, it is no longer necessary to break down the system for hardware changes.  The user simply opens the drawer and makes the changes that need to be done.  VersaCase can be used in hundreds of standard, custom or mission defined combinations such as high performance Desktops, Towers, rack-mounted File Servers, Web Servers, free standing Servers, Blade Servers, Arrays, Juke Boxes, Multimedia centers and more.

The Stable product line is a line of highly unique computer power systems that include the “Breeze^™”, “Prizm^™”, and “Blizzard^™” power supplies.  The signature component in the Stable power product line is the Breeze power supply.  The Breeze power supply was designed and built to give the high end market and mission critical applications a truly “Stable^®” power source.  It is Intel^® ATX 2.2 and BTX compliant meeting and exceeding all the requirements therein.  The Prizm power supply features a snap-in upper power module for ultra fast power supply replacement and was designed exclusively for the Orion chassis system.  (The Blizzard power supply is considered a trade secret and details have been withheld at this time.)

The Cablety product line is a patented internal wire management system designed to lift internal cables and wires off the electronic system board.  Cablety increases airflow around the computer’s electronics reducing heat induced failures.  Cablety can be used in any pre-existing computer or can be incorporated into the VersaCase chassis.
